Founder and CEO
Adam is a senior employee relations and employment law specialist with over a decade of experience advising organisations on their most complex and sensitive workplace matters. He prides himself on balancing three key values when navigating these matters: calmness, efficiency, and thoughtfulness.
Having led the global Employee Relations and Employment Law function at Slaughter and May for three years and previously having held a global Employee Relations partnership role at Google DeepMind, Adam has worked with executive teams, HR leaders and legal functions to navigate high-risk employee relations issues with confidence and discretion.
Throughout his career, Adam has advised on complex workplace investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, whistleblowing concerns, executive exits, organisational change programmes and employment disputes, often within a regulated environment.
In his many roles, he has worn two hats: employment lawyer and employee relations specialist, enabling him to provide privileged legal advice to the business on employment law matters while acting as an investigator on workplace matters.
Today, Adam works with organisations that require experienced senior support without the commitment of permanent headcount. This can take many forms including acting as an independent workplace investigator, providing interim employee relations leadership and/or an employee relations resourcing solution for a short-term resourcing gap or spike in ER activity, advising on strategic employment law issues or delivering practical management training.
Clients value not only his technical expertise but also his calm, pragmatic approach, independence and ability to deal with sensitive workplace matters professionally, discreetly and most importantly, swiftly.
Adam understands that behind every employee relations issue are people, reputations, operational and commercial considerations, and he prides himself on delivering solutions that are thoughtful and proportionate on achieving the best outcome for the organisation.
